Privacy
WrestlingBeltTracker is a public price-tracking website. The site does not currently provide user accounts, accept payments or ask visitors to submit personal information.
Like most websites, basic technical information may be processed as needed to serve, secure, and understand use of the website, such as request and device information.
My Watchlist stores saved belt IDs in your browser. Clearing browser storage can erase the list. The site may count anonymous watchlist actions to understand feature usage; it does not receive your complete saved list or require an account. Test and preview sites do not send watchlist events to production analytics.
Links to retailers take you to third-party websites. Their privacy practices and terms apply once you leave WrestlingBeltTracker.
If features that collect personal information are added in the future, this page will be updated to explain what is collected and how it is used.
WrestlingBeltTracker Shopping Companion — Chrome extension
Last updated: October 7, 2026. Applies to WrestlingBeltTracker Shopping Companion version 1.1.0.
WrestlingBeltTracker Shopping Companion compares public tracked wrestling belt prices while you browse WWE Shop, Fanatics, and FansEdge.
Information used on your device
The extension reads product identifiers from the current supported page's URL, metadata, product attributes, and structured product data. It compares those identifiers with the public WrestlingBeltTracker catalog locally. It does not send the page URL, product identifiers, page content, or browsing history to WrestlingBeltTracker. It does not read unrelated sites, accounts, shopping carts, payment details, passwords, or cookies. It has no analytics, telemetry, accounts, or persistent user identifiers.
The extension stores your drawer choice (expanded or collapsed) and preferred display currency (USD, CAD, AUD, or GBP) in Chrome extension-local storage. These preferences persist across supported pages and browser sessions until changed or the extension is uninstalled. Product identifiers and the catalog are used in memory; the extension does not build a browsing-history record or store them persistently.
Network requests and third parties
The extension requests the public catalog at https://wrestlingbelttracker.com/data/catalog.json and public exchange rates at https://wrestlingbelttracker.com/data/exchange-rates.json over HTTPS, without cookies or other credentials. Like other network requests, this exposes your IP address and ordinary request information to the site's hosting provider. The extension does not add user identifiers or browsing information. Hosting providers may maintain operational request logs under their own retention practices; this extension does not control those logs.
When a matched belt has an allowed product image, your browser may request it over HTTPS from an approved retailer image host. The image uses a no-referrer policy. That host receives normal network request information and handles it under its own privacy policy. The extension does not read image-host cookies or manage those cookies.
Website and retailer destinations open only when you choose a button or link. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may use cookies or analytics. When a lower available tracked offer is shown, one or more tied-best retailer buttons may open the exact affiliate URL supplied by the public catalog. WrestlingBeltTracker may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. An affiliate network can receive the link's campaign/product information and normal browser request information and may set attribution cookies after you choose to visit. The extension does not set affiliate cookies itself, change links on the retailer page, or append or replace tracking codes.
Use, sharing, and control
Local product information is used only to match the current page and display comparison/history information. The extension does not sell user data or use it for advertising profiles, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes. It does not transmit local product information to third parties. Normal network requests and user-selected outbound destinations are described above.
Collapse or expand the tab and use the currency controls to change the saved preferences. Remove the extension in chrome://extensions to delete its extension-local storage and stop its page access. Browser/site data created by destinations you visit is managed through Chrome's site-data controls, separately from extension storage.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
WrestlingBeltTracker Shopping Companion's use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Product information is used only for the extension's displayed matching and comparison features; it is not used for personalized advertising or unrelated purposes.
Questions and changes
For questions about the extension or this privacy policy, contact wrestlingbelttracker@gmail.com. Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the published policy and extension listing. This policy applies to the Chrome extension; the website's watchlist and analytics are covered separately by the website privacy notice.
